Yulia Tsukerman emigrated to Israel from Moscow in 2005. She began her degree in ceramics in 2007 at Jerusalem’s Bezalel Academy of Fine Art and Design which she completed in 2011. She was then awarded an artist-in-residence at the Benyamini Contemporary Ceramics Center in Tel Aviv. Currently living and working in Tel Aviv.
